This tutorial was made on Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan), but it is tested and compatible for macOS 10.10 — macOS 10.12 as well.

Start by opening your browser application, we have used Safari in this tutorial.
Click the download link for the StrongVPN Client application for macOS.

Click on the Downloads icon, find the StrongVPN Client application in the list and open it. (If you use the different browser you can just go to your Downloads folder, find the StrongVPN Client application icon there and double click on it to open.)
If you see security warning, confirm that you trust the application by clicking 'Open' button.
If it ask you to move the application, select 'Move to Applications Folder'.
Then you need to log into the application, you need to use your email address and the password that you have created when you made the order. The credentials on the picture below are just an example, you should use your own. Click 'Login' button when they are entered correctly.
If the client application ask you to install the helper tool, you need to provide your macOS username and password (not the email and password for StrongVPN account).

Then you will see the StrongVPN Client application window.
Click 'Connect' button to connect the VPN.
Please notice: If you are using macOS 10.12 (Sierra) and you see the PPTP connection selected in the 'VPN Server and Protocol' field, please click on this field and change the connection type to L2TP.
This is needed because the PPTP connection support was removed by Apple in the macOS 10.12 and it will never connect unless changed.

When the VPN is connected, you will see the message 'You have been connected to {the location of your VPN server}'.
The 'Connect' button will become red and change to 'Disconnect', please also note the application icon on the top panel, it will be green.

Connecting the StrongVPN Client on macOS
Open the StrongVPN Client application from the search app:
1. Click on the magnifying glass icon at the top right of the screen and the search field will appear.
2. Type 'strongvpn', wait a bit and click on the yellow shield icon of the application in the list of results.
Alternatively you can go to your 'Applications' folder and run the StrongVPN Client from there.
Once the application launched log in if needed and then click 'Connect' button.
When the VPN is connected, you will see the message 'You have been connected to {the location of your VPN server}'.

Disconnecting the StrongVPN Client on macOS
Locate the running connection icon on your top panel (top right corner of the screen, near the clock — in the shape of the shield). Click on it and select 'Disconnect'.
Changing the server using StrongVPN Client on macOS

2. In the application window click the button with the globe and pin, on the right next to 'Connect' button.
3. This will open 'StrongVPN Server Switcher' window, wait for server list to load.
Select the new server by clicking on its name and perform the switch using 'Switch' button.

Troubleshooting
1. Click 'Diagnostics' on main window of the StrongVPN Client application.
